An interactive empowering educators session conducted by Team Ummeed with Julien Day School Howrah on 27th November,2017 on "Identifying and supporting students with academic difficulty".

Ummeed conducted a session on Gender Sensitivity thereby Empowering today's youth at New Alipore College on 20th November,2017 by Ms. Salony Priya Director of Ummeed . This session was organized by Womens Study Cell of the college.

Ummeed conducted two days workshop on sensitizing youth and their parents to create a healthy bond that makes transition of adolescent years easier leading to Respect and Responsibility at St Marys English school in Jamshedpur on 16th and 17th November,2017. Resource person for the session was Ms.Salony Priya founder director of Ummeed.

"Good Touch and Bad Touch" by sensitizing students of LKG on Safety issues at Hariyana Vidya Mandir on 7th November,2017 by team Ummeed.

Safety issues have become a part of parcel of our everyday lives. The earlier we can create awareness among children, the better equipped they become to create their own safety net. Certified Pastoral guides along with Ummeed Counselor at the Frank Anthony Public School Kolkata, conducted a sensitization programme on 7th November,2017 for students of classes I and II on Good Touch and Bad Touch, emphasizing on building personal safety.

A lifeskill session on "My Space, My Responsibilities" was conducted for the junior students of class IV at Lions Calcutta Vidya Mandir on 3rd November,2017 by team Ummeed.
Reflection of the participants :-

1. "In this workshop, the teachers told us about the feeling that happen when we are affected by good touch and bad touch. This workshop is useful in our day to day activities. We learnt that we should be careful. Bad touch makes us feel uncomfortable. Good touch makes us feel comfortable. We should be aware of unknown person. "Leading change through Management Skills" -  A conference for the principals and heads of 100 schools from various North East states of India and from Bhutan and Nepal was held on 20th of October, 2017 at Don Bosco Institute, Guwahati.
A session on Safety for the students by addressing issues of Addiction and Aggression was conducted by Ms. Salony Priya, Founder & Director of Ummeed.
