  I liked today’s session very much as in my whole life I have never heard this type of kind and encouraging words from anybody. It was very interesting and I learnt that nothing is impossible in this world. - Rachita Dash, 7B.
  From today’s session I learnt that we should work in team, we should be honest and nothing is impossible. I learnt that if we lose hope we cannot do anything.   The three most useful topic of this session are: Possitive classroom management, Handling adolescence issues and teacher’s Introduction.The resource person is highly experienced and knowledgeable. - Rajashree Mohanty.
  From the session I learnt about the ways to appreciate children, positive classroom management and I also learnt how to avoid disruption in class. Through this workshop we can modify our attitude and faulty teaching process. - Jyotsnanani Mahapatra
  I think the three most useful topic of this session are: Positive classroom management, handling class with different techniques, understanding the important behavioural approaches of students. I hope this types of workshop will be held I n future, then we will be aware of different uses of the students. My suggestion is that if this type of workshop can be conducted in different private and government school, then it will be more hopeful for the students as well as for the teachers and parents also. - Ajay kumar Bhattacharya
  The three topics that I found most useful are adolescent, ABC of classroom management and 4 A’s of motivating and engaging people in school. I have developed insight on how to manage the classroom along with the children. I want to know more about children and counselling. The ideas were very attractive and can be implemented easily.   For me the topics that I found most useful are 99 ways to say vey good, teaching to make students successful and alternatives to punishment. The insight that I developed from the session is how to manage the class. In future I want to learn few techniques on stress management of teachers.   An effective tool for students to enhance performance was discussed. Educators should conduct a holistic evaluation and provide immediate and effective feedback to students.
  Focus on Average child – let us teach the majority, impact of labelling, and failure was explained to teachers with a video from Tare Zameen Par movie, along with handouts and case studies.
  Power to teach lies within each educators and it’s up to them to make a difference in each child’s life.
  Some of the key learning’s shared by participants were:- Usage of sign language, Give rewards at all times, Appreciate students for doing the right things, Uniformity while giving instructions to students, Understand individual differences of students and react accordingly to them, Listen to what the students have to say.

  The insight developed was that we need to discuss with the child about their problem considering that child is not a problematic but the situation child is facing is not per the child imagination and is not adjusting with the situation. It has helped me to know that there is no problematic child. Only he needs proper coaching to handle the situation.   I really developed broader perspective towards counselling. I understood how to more in the right direction during counselling session. Now I can convince others also that counselling is totally required for normal children. There is nothing like abnormality. I learnt various resources which will be helpful in counselling sessions, Guided imagery, Mind/concentration games, Choice of words during counselling sessions and How to set goals for counselling session.
