On 12th October Ms. Salony Priya conducted a positive parenting session at Golden Jubilee School near Aurangabad in Maharashtra - a psycho educational experience to enable parents to handle the challenges of bringing up a millennial child.

Ummeed empowers teachers as pastoral guides at K C Public School, Jammu on 6-7 October. Educators learning affirmative techniques to promote mental wellbeing.
A very intensive intervention plan for enabling adolescents with life skills was the core focus. Case analysis on handling Adolescent issues of excessive dependency on gadgets and social media was found extremely relevant.
Ms. Salony Priya, renowned psychologist and the Founder & Director of Ummeed, conducted a session for class 9 & 10 students of Jewish Girls School, Kolkata on the 27th of September.
She highlighted the importance of self-management inclusive of Time, Stress & Life. She emphasized on working towards developing a personality since a young age. Ms. Salony informed the students about the importance of the collaboration between Theoretical Knowledge, which one gets from books, as well as Experiential Learning which is derived from observation, experience, family and social circles. She talked about how the nurturing of Life Skills is extremely essential in life for Wholistic Success.
On 27th September, Ms. Salony Priya, the Founder & Director of Ummeed conducted an engaging and eye-opening session for the students of classes 11 & 12 of the Jewish Girls School, Kolkata.
Ms. Salony threw light upon the advancements made by India in recent times and how that presents itself as valuable opportunities for the youth to progress as individuals and in solidarity as a country.
Ms. Salony not only shared invaluable insights about Career Building, but also highlighted the important Skills required in the millennium world in order to create Successful Leaders, such as learning multiple Languages, Exposure to a variety of subjects, Strong Value Systems, Social Skills, knowing the ethical uses of Technology etc. She informed the students about the need to have a healthy mental health, whilst also guiding them to learn how to Manage Stress.
Ummeed counsellors conducted sessions with classes 1 and 2 students of Frank Anthony Public School on 13th and 15th September 2023.
Students learned the pro social behaviour management techniques with the help of age appropriate activities.
They understand the importance of togetherness and how each one of us is unique, special and important in our classes.
All the students were very participative throughout the session.
On 13th September Mrs.Salony Priya was invited by Galgotia University Noida campus to address the faculty and students of psychology, economics and sociology departments. Resilience as skill for enhancing employability and competence was the core focus of discussion.

Dr Anuradha Prashar Dean of SOLE School of Liberal Education at Galgotia University was very appreciative of the topic and the interaction, she added how resiliency is most critical to being a team worker and leads to better mental health.
